Terms of Service

By downloading, accessing, or using ParentGrove (the "App") or the ParentGrove website (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App or Site. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors to the Site and registered users of the App. ParentGrove is intended solely for use by Canadian residents aged 18 and older.

ParentGrove is a mobile application and web service that provides Canadian parents and caregivers with: • Personalized pediatric health milestone reminders, based on a child's age or expected due date • Family financial planning prompts, including reminders about RESPs, Canada Child Benefit, and government registrations • A document storage vault for family records ParentGrove is a information and reminder tool only. It is not a healthcare provider, financial advisor, or legal advisor.

IMPORTANT: The health information provided by ParentGrove is for general educational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. • All health content is based on publicly available Canadian pediatric guidelines and is reviewed for general accuracy, but may not be current, complete, or applicable to your specific situation. • ParentGrove is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult your pediatrician, family doctor, or other qualified healthcare professional regarding your child's health. • In a medical emergency, call 9-1-1 or go to your nearest emergency room. • Vaccine schedules referenced in the App are based on the Canadian Immunization Guide. Provincial schedules may vary. Confirm the current schedule with your healthcare provider.

The financial information provided by ParentGrove is for general educational purposes only and does not constitute financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. • RESP, CCB, and other financial content is general in nature and may not apply to your specific financial situation. • ParentGrove is not a registered financial advisor or investment dealer. • Always consult a qualified financial planner, tax professional, or lawyer before making financial decisions. • Government program rules (CCB, CESG, EI) are subject to change. To use the App, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for: • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials • All activity that occurs under your account • Providing accurate information, including your child's date of birth (used to generate your milestone schedule) You may not share your account with others or use the App on behalf of another person without their knowledge.

Your use of ParentGrove is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy at parentgrove.ca/privacy. You own the data you enter into the App (child profiles, uploaded documents). By using the App, you grant ParentGrove a limited license to process this data solely to provide the services described in these Terms.

You agree not to: • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App • Scrape, copy, or reproduce App content without permission • Use automated tools to access the App or its data • Impersonate another person or entity • Upload or transmit content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes third-party rights

All content in the App and on the Site, including text, design, graphics, milestone data, and the ParentGrove brand, is owned by or licensed to ParentGrove. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without written permission.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE CANADIAN LAW: ParentGrove is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of security vulnerabilities. ParentGrove and its founders, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to: • Medical decisions made in reliance on App content • Financial decisions made in reliance on App content • Loss of data or account access Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, for a free app, is zero).

We may update these Terms or the App's features at any time. Material changes to these Terms will be communicated via the App or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the App after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We may discontinue or modify features of the App at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of any material changes to core functionality.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved by the courts of Ontario, Canada.
